Dolores Emma Fuller was born May 10, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Appelhans) Schiefelbein. She was united in marriage to Frank Fuller on January 18, 1947 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on December 31, 1999. Dolores and Frank were charter members of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Evansdale. She was employed by Sears and retired in 1970. Dolores enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles and was an avid gin player. She loved making people laugh and dancing.
Dolores passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Allen Memorial Hospital from a sudden illness at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank; a grandson Charles Fuller; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Dolores is survived by a son Larry (Marti Blacksmith) Fuller of Waterloo; 4 daughters: Sharon (Steve) Witt of Rochester, Minnesota, Teresa (Dan) Shere of Evansdale, Christine (Craig) Wilson of Washburn and Valerie Pryor of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great-grandchildren and 3 sisters: Anna Marie Lae, Barbara Weaver and Patricia Noland all of Oregon. Dolores will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
