Nancy Ann Terry was born on May 9, 1939, in Waterloo, the daughter of Horace “Hod” Lang and Mabel (Lonergan) Lang.  She grew up in Waterloo and was a proud graduate of West High Class of 1957.  On July 12, 1969, Nancy was united in marriage to Gene L. Terry and the Little Brown Church in Nashua.  Two children were born to this union, Craig William, who died in infancy, and Renae Ellen.  Nancy worked for ten years at Powers Manufacturing and retired to become a housewife and mother in 1977.  She was a member of Central Christian Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, UAW Local 838 and had previously bowled on a league for more than 20 years.  Nancy dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed holidays and any time spent together.  Nancy passed away at the age of 73, at her home, on Monday, March 4, 2013.  she is survived by her husband; a daughter, Renae Terry of Waterloo; a brother, Jerry (Bernie) Lang of Lake Placid, Florida; and a sister in law, Lucille Terry of Newburg, Missouri.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Craig.

She was a loving and caring person to all she met and knew.  She will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on in all who were privileged to know her.
