Judy has been with Overton Family Funeral Homes and Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories since 2005 assisting clients with their funeral preplanning needs. Judy is formerly from Cresco, Iowa and moved to attend college in the Waterloo area; she graduated from Hawkeye Community College in 1983. Judy has been very active in the community volunteering and serving on many councils and boards including The UpDowntowners, Main Street Waterloo, Black Hawk County Cancer Society, Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, Waterloo Center of the Arts, P.E.O-Chapter LO, YWCA, Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area, Grout Museum, Waterloo Community Schools, Big Brothers and Sisters, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Trinity Episcopal Church. Judy has a life insurance license from the state of Iowa and assists clients with preplanning and funding their funerals. She is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Waterloo and is currently President of her P.E.O. Chapter. |

Bob Fread

Bob Fread has been serving families at times of loss and grief as a church pastor and funeral professional for over 20 years. Since April, 2007 he has been with Overton Family Funeral Homes assisting funeral directors with services, providing pastoral care for families without a religious affiliation and helping families with pre-planned funeral arrangements. He is a licensed pre-arranged funeral agent in the state of Iowa. Bob is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a graduate of Cedarville University. He and his wife Sue reside in Hudson with their two daughters, Sara and Hannah. His family is active at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Cedar Falls, and he is a frequent supply and interim pastor for area churches. |
